Located right next to our cycling studio, Chateau Café is a cosy, welcoming space where good coffee, great cake, and even better company come together.

Whether you’re popping in after a ride or just fancy a cuppa and a catch-up, you’ll find a warm welcome and a proper brew waiting for you.

Come by and say hi. You don’t have to be on a bike to belong here. Everyone is welcome—riders, walkers, work-from-cafe-ers, and dog lovers alike.

Sunday, Monday & Tuesday – Closed
Wednesday – 8am to 7pm
Thursday – 8am to 3pm / 5pm - 7pm
Friday – 8am to 3pm
Saturday – 7:30am to 1pm (or later if busy!)

Award Winning Specialty Coffee
Fresh, Barista made specialty coffee from local Portslade based coffee roaster Small Batch Coffee.

We do them all.
We have a delicious decaf coffee option, and offer oat and almond milk as a non-dairy options.
Tea, Herbal Tea, Hot Chocolate, Chai, Matcha...
A comforting selection of herbal teas, rich hot chocolate, chais, matcha and refreshing cold drinks for any time of day, including freshly blended fruit smoothies and milkshakes.
Homemade Sandwiches and Croques (Toasties!)
Croque means 'crunch' or 'crunchy bite', but you may know them as toasties. Toasted or fresh – our sandwiches are made in-house and perfect for breakfast, lunch, or anything in between. Check out the classic Croque Fromage - three cheeses toasted on brown or white bread, or try our popular Brie, Bacon and Chilli Jam Toastie - a perfect balance of sweet and savoury.
Cakes and Bakes
We are firm believers that you don't have to earn cake. You don't have to burn off the cake. Just eat the cake. (If that makes you happy of course). If it doesn't, check out our other snack options so you can feel refueled, recharged and ready for the day (or night) ahead.
We have a range of cakes and bakes on our menu, including locally sourced favourites, with vegan and gluten-free options. Whether you want the perfectly light Raspberry Chocolate Brownie, a classic mixed fruit flapjack or a freshly baked Vegan Brookie - we got you.
